Dr. Harold Tepler received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and then completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at SUNY-Downstate Long Island College Hospital in 1993.

Dr. Tepler has 25+ years of clinical experience in treating gastrointestinal and Liver diseases, and has performed thousands of endoscopic procedures. Dr. Tepler has been a physician leader in the Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy, where he is a past Board President and currently serves on the Quality Peer review Committee. In addition, Dr. Tepler has been involved in the teaching and supervision of Gastroenterology Fellows at the Hackensack-Palisades Medical Center, and has been featured on NJ Channel 12 News where he was interviewed on Colorectal Cancer and Esophageal Cancer. Dr Tepler has a special interest in prevention and screening for Colon Cancer, and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterologic Association. Dr. Tepler is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
