Board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and with a PhD in biochemical pharmacology, Dr. Snady has served as president of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and has been a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy since 1985, having served on its research and scientific program committees. He is on the editorial board of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a leading endoscopy journal worldwide. As a pioneer of endoscopic ultrasound in the US, he was the first physician to successfully describe and standardize criteria for staging pancreatic cancer invasion. Dr. Snady has authored and co-authored dozens of original research articles, invited articles and book chapters for professional journals and texts, and has lectured extensively. Dr. Snady is bilingual in Spanish and can manage to converse in French.
