Dr. Siegel has 20 years of experience in treating all aspects of gastroenterology, diseases of digestion as well as liver problems. He is proficient in all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD) and performs E.R.C.P. He has been involved in clinical research for more than 10 years specializing in the management of chronic viral hepatitis (Hepatitis C and B) and he offers treatment options that are customized to the individual patient, including state of the art clinical trials. He offers expertise in colon cancer screening, identification and removal of polyps, treatment of heartburn, ulcers, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea and all types of intestinal bleeding, as well as the evaluation of causes for anemia. He has special interest in the evaluation of abnormal liver enzymes or X-rays and scans involving the liver.
